Jobs Available for Fundraising! The Leader-Telegram is pleased to invite you to participate in Sawdust City Days 2008 to be held at Carson Park June 12th through June 15th. Sawdust City Days is a spectacular showcase of Main Stage entertainment, Carnival rides & Midway Games, Family Fun Stage, Fireworks Display & Kids Inflatable Park. More than 17,000 people are projected to attend this 4-day event. If
your organization is interested in event fundraising, we think you'll
be hard-pressed to find a better venue than the Sawdust City Days
to raise money. Here's how it works. Our staff will send your organization
a sign-up sheet for any number of different tasks within the event
including, security, stage hand, ticket sales, garbage removal,
traffic & parking. Our company will pay your organization at the
end of the event one lump sum, based on the number of hours worked
per person.Wages range from $5 to $8 per hour, some tasks pay higher
per hour wage. Free T-shirts are given to most participants.
